It now seems conclusive that Kerry took a pen, not notes, out of his jacket pocket during the debate last week, which pretty much reduces the whole violation to a technical one.

I still think Kerry's a dishonorable fellow, and there are many, many men and women who agree with me on that point, but taking a pen out during a debate doesn't count towards that score.

Now, if he'd only release his military and medical records, too.
