John Irving, for whom I've never cared very much, has a smart, well-informed, well-written
op-ed piece about Title IX in this morning's
New York Times. He uses the example of men's wrestling, which he has personal experience with, and spices it up with anecdotal evidence. He also calls the radical feminists' bluff, showing how they argue almost entirely by assertion, and then oppose the surveys that might prove them wrong.
